Elizabeth Haga
Vice President, Mentor Trainer
Dr. Elizabeth Haga serves as the Vice President of NicerFL and is a dedicated Mentor/Tutor Trainer. She holds an EdD in TESOL from Anaheim University, where she also earned her MA in TESOL, and has a rich teaching background spanning multiple countries. Currently, she works as an ESOL Specialist for the Manatee County School District, having previously taught at North Port High School and the State College of Florida. Dr. Haga has contributed significantly to curriculm development and student support in various educational settings.
Her professional involvement extends to editorial reviews for major publishers and active participation in TESOL International, where she also reviews proposals. Fluent in four languages, including Czech and Slovak, she posesses a unique perspective on language learning and emotional responses in educational contexts. Dr. Haga has presented her research at numerous conferences, focusing on the emotional experiences of ESL learners. Her diverse skills, including proficiency in learning management systems and strong organizational abilities as a former business owner, enhance her contributions to NicerFL and the broader educational community.
