Dr. Maya Lane
Dr. Maya Lane has been an English educator since 1991, teaching youth and adults in public schools, universities, and at NicerFL Welcome Centers for New Immigrants. Over the years, she has specialized in helping learners navigate language and cultural integration, creating the widely used “Florida Life and Culture Curriculum” for NicerFL English Conversation Groups. Her work is deeply inspired by the belief that language and education are powerful tools to connect people and foster mutual understanding. Through her teaching, Dr. Lane has dedicated her life to breaking down barriers, building bridges between cultures, and empowering individuals to thrive in their communities.
